one of those conversations...

me: I'm not complaining about my weight gain, you know. I've finally made it into the 'Acceptable' weight range. So, I'm not complaining. But, that will be another 3 inches all round! I can't wear almost all my pants now. Sigh...
wenn: Why can't you just not see it as a bad thing... since you have made it into the acceptable weight range, it's good. Why don't you see it this way... You need new clothes not because you're fat. You can wear normal clothes now. Those clothes you had were all for the malnutritioned.

A best friend is someone who walks in when all the undersized pants get thrown out.
